Iconic Country Pub Tour West Auckland
On this fabulous outing to West Auckland in Waitakere country, we will visit the iconic River head tavern nestled on the shores of the upper Waitemata, The Riverhead is steeped in local history and played a part in the development of early New Zealand, with thousands using the wharf and hotel as the gateway to lands in the north prior to the completion of roads and railway. With a few different bars here we will visit the public bar with pool tables a fabulous view, if you would like the restaurant on the day just please advise me.
Next stop is the Hallertau Brewery a craft beer brewery, Hallertau came to life in 2005 when founders Hayley and Steve Plowman left their geology and teaching careers behind to take their love for home brews to the next level. The motivation behind the business was to create a unique and very kiwi beer drinking experience and combine it with old-world brewing traditions, this bar deserves to be in the iconic Country pub tour with gorgeous food and a real vibe you will truly love this stop, again if you wish to eat here please advise me.
